| Hey bro I don't think you're supposed to use those carts with a str8 arm tonearm, they're designed to be used with S-shaped tone arms! |

| You can use those style of carts on a straight tone arm as long as it has a spherical stylus. Elliptical ones might not work the best on a straight tone arm but they do work. |

Bad analogy imo. Toyota make some of the most reliable and quality cars available. I would liken my allen & heath xone:32 to a toyota because I bought it for its top quality sound, whereas I'd liken a xone:92 to a BMW because it's got all the features AND the quality. I'd liken a behringer to a 1950's buick that won't start cos it's pure . |
So's that a bad analogy if you were gonna be anal about it... when you buy a BMW it comes with nothing no features everythings an extra, e.g. alloys CD player.
Besides if people want a Berhinger they can buy emm. Just understand it's not going to last as long probebly. The sound quality isn't going to be there either. However unless your going to be mastering a CD for major production the 7dB differnce in SNR between a Xone 32 and DJX700 isn't going to be an issue. In your little bedroom. I recon build quality is possibly though.
But calling other peoples eqipment just cos you spent £700 or whatever one your mixer is pretty ty to be honest. It's a perfectly good mixer. Rember a mixer is a tool nothing else. Some people can't afford all the tunes they want and a mint mixer. If it's between getting the tunes you want and getting a mixer with better stats I say get tunes. |

Big deal about the BMW analogy mate.
I never said people aren't allowed to buy behringer products, I just said they royally suck in their build quality and sound quality. Even though the difference in build quality is the hugest factor for me, 7db difference in signal to noise ratio is a lot.
Lastly, I never set out get on a high horse about my xone32, nor did I intend to bag people that have behringers. I was bagging behringer mixers, particularly the DJX700, simply because I think it is pure . I'm not here to debate why people buy what they do, just to point out that DJX700's are house. Oh, and don't peg me as some rich kid that bought an expensive mixer just to show it off, I spent 2 solid years working a ty job and saving just so I could buy this relatively cheap A&H mixer and a couple of MK5s. |

Yeah but your compairing two differnt and seprate (one a £180 class one a £450 class ) mixers.
One is twice the price of the other.
How would you like it if someone came an and goes "Your Xone 32 is should have got the Xone 92 like me..." cos the price differnce (100%) is the same.
You should know that some people (like you) have to work hard to get their stuff. So like I said completely slating someone gear is pretty ty. How ace/ something is a relative thing.
Fair enough if he paid the same for it but he didn't did he? |

| lol mate this all started with a ty analogy that compared the DJX700 to better mixers, I was mocking that analogy when I compared my xone to the behringer. Obviously they are of no comparison. For the last time, regardless of comparisons, the behringer is a waste of money IMO. Let's put this to rest shall we! |

| YES i own a djx700 and have used a Xone62 several times. The behringer does suck that is simply the truth however not all people can afford to pay 1k for a mixer. |

I think your mom is a waste of money. The Xone 32 is nothing more than a paperweight, the DJX700 is where the real juice is at. And guess what, my wallet is FAT!
To tell you the truth, yes the Xone did feel a little better, and the DJX at times may seem a bit frail, but it does do the job. But you know what, I honestly do not think the Xone is actually worth as much as it sells for. It's not like it plays with your weewee for you.
Seriously it's like comparing apples to oranges. You can't compare a Behringer to an Allen & Heath, they're on different levels, but by no means do I think the Behringer is a waste of money. As long as it does the job, even if not at the highest quality, for 150 bucks getting 4 channels, EQs and kill switches, CF curve, bla bla bla, you can't beat that deal with a stick.
Say hi to your parents for me though, seriously, c*nt. |
