These pictures really don't reflect all the hard work that when in to making this mixer case.
So the mixer is the Rane 2016 MP+XP. Since the mixer is designed for rack mount, all of the correctors are on the back of the unit. When I started checking out cases it looked like I was going to have to get something that was 4U in depth to accommodate the depth of the unit plus the space required for cabling. I felt that 4U would have been way too high.
Instead, a buddy of mine and I decided that the way to do it was to get a smaller case, custom cable all of the internals and then terminate all of the inputs/outputs on a patch panel. 15 man hours (which my buddy did) and $500 worth of parts later we have the end result, which I promote as the finest mixer case on the planet for the Rane 2016. :D
The power supplies are mounted in to front as well and the heat they give off makes the front hand rest the perfect warmth. And when I want to play at a party I just put the lid on and go. It really worked out nice I think. |

| Where'd you get that table? |

This is the table:

I got the 60 X 24. I paid way less then that ($350 I think) but it took a couple months to arrive.
I one thing I didn't like about it was that if you would bump it there would be a lot of feedback with the Technics. Just tapping the service of the table would cause it. But now that I switched to the CDJs it doesn't matter. :D |

Yeah the totally flush (meaning no wires) plasma and surround sound was another massive project with the same buddy. I guess he's a pretty good guy to have around. :D
We are renting a warehouse here in Seattle where I am going to DJ in a couple months. This guy is bringing a $5000 argon laser that he brought. The laser is so powerful that he needs a permit from the county to turn it on. That, along with all the other lighting he has is going to make it a killer event!
On a side note, a couple people have asked about the speaker stands. They are the VTI BLE101. Here is a Froogle search for them:
