They are going quite cheap on ebay at the moment and I'm thinking of trading in my DJM 500 for one. Didn't think it was worth making a new thread. I've never used the Nuo series but I own an Evo 5 and I love it. Based on what I know, however, the nuos would be a huge upgrade over the 500. (the nuo5 currently using). I can tell you that they are excellent mixers. It would be a big upgrade from your DJM500 for sure.. The huge knobs were kinda wierd at first, but they quickly grew on me and I loved em. I really liked the sound quality mostly. I wish they had vu meters for all channels, but unfortunately they don't.. not that it's a huge problem, cuz you still have the pfl and master meter.
