Currently building an attachment to my desk to accommodate my laptop and KRKs.. possibly making a quick stand so the 4D is a little more direct. |
how do u like the Xone4d? Do u use it ableton? |
|

I like the control on it a lot.. im currently learning traktor scratch which im enjoying a lot more than i thought. Im lagging with ableton since learning all the features of traktor is pretty fun.
Hopefully i wont get lazy and learn ableton soon haha. My old copy of live 7 is just rotting on my computer. |

I love that Vestax mixer. It was my first mixer, which i actually still have and should really sell it on Ebay or locally. Never skipped a beat and i loved having those kill switches :)
|

Yeah, the 4 band eq is really topnotch stuff, still cant imagine how i could live without it before.
I also love the faders, smooth as silk and "softer" feel/sound when you pull up/down, comparing to djm800's digital.
The sound is great too, you can really here the diference beetween warm analog and cold digital sound, specially when you put on a "real" vinylrecord.

Cheers mate! I downloaded your latest set Savage Stuff Sessions and i really liked it! I play almost the same stuff :-D |

| It does sound a lot different.. as long as youre able to notice it. A lot of people like the digital sound, but the warm sound from the 92 makes all the beats sound so much smoother. |

LOL, i really have to change that name.. It was a piss take among friends (being Irish we say Savage Stuff quite a bit) but never ended up changing it.
Which number did you download? 05? 01 was the first set i ever recorded.
Going to change the name and create a new website for 'em. Just not sure what i should use to create the website...
Thanks though. Pretty much have identical setup to you just different versions of everything (bar 92) MK 3D techs, older MBP, TSP (and i have the Fader Fox DX2, which is a great little unit)..
Meant to ask you, did you make the stands for the monitors yourself? They're at a perfect height (done on purpose i'm sure) but i've never seen stands so tall! |
