If i cud get my cam to work atm id post pics, but ill fix it and upload them asap. But my setup =
2 cdj 1000`s
2 cdj 800`s
2 technics mk5`s
1 pioneer djm 600
2 pioneer efx 500`s
And my pioneer headphones
And currently sitting near all that very neatly tucked in boxes are my un-used stanton vrm-10 mixer and 2 more technics mk2`s..... |

jesus man, how many arms to you have? 4 decks, 4 cd decks, 2 fx units, and a mixer with fx too, man, i bet you could make a pretty fantastic trainwreck with all that. |

Most likely a duo, no single DJ needs that much stuff. |

Right, 2 x 4's are awesome to listen to, or he could be doing lots of samples, and lots of 3-4 deck mixing. Liebing does 3 decks + ableton live + Air-FX etc...
Most likely he has 2 by 4's performing. |

lol i dont use them all (well....most of them)but its just me using them , no duo! Its all been bought over time. I only use the 2 cdj 1000s, with the 2 efx units for each deck, and the 2 technics mk5s and the djm 600. The other 2 cdj 800s are above the 1000s on purpose made stands for the very odd time i want to put in acapellas or samples or simply cue up more than one track at a time.
I dont use the 2 mk2 technics or the stanton vrm10 mixer...but the vrm 10 is to sexy to sell lol. Hopefully ill be able to get sum pics up within a few days when i get my camera :crazy: |

I hear you on not selling the VRM-10 mixer. Somebody once asked me if I could ever sell mine and I really don't think I can. I had a Rane Rotary once and I sold it cause I knew I could always buy another. If I sold the VRM I don't think I would be able to buy another or spend the money. :)
I am surprised that you don't use that VRM-10. When I record a mix out of the VRM it is cleaner, punchier, and warmer than any other mix I have heard including the one's store bought. I would suggest that you at least use it for that purpose. Sure it's sexy but it's a state of the art piece of equipment. The DJM cannot compare to the quality of sound. |

| I actually was thinking about that the other day tamtui, im def gonna use it more than i have been maybe swap them around when recording mixes or wotever.... |
