Just for cable access. I don't mind it, can't see it unless you're back there anyway. Plus it gives me a hole to stick my vinyl cleaning pads and stylus brush.
I have a blank 19" panel I thought about putting on the rails, but I haven't bothered yet.
I could also paint those rails so they look better :) But that's all minor. |

I stumbled across this company for cool looking legs and brackets:
http://www.tablelegsonline.com/
They can custom cut them for you, so you can go higher than the standard 36" desk height.
I decided to go way overboard and spend way more money in the end :)

Thank you sir will give it a try, but I'm still lost on how to mount legs to my table. The top of the table is made of plexiglass |

You could try this, from IKEA: VIKA FAGERLID
or VIKA LILLEBY, These ones are only 6 quid each!
