@import -> i spent some money on mix, lot on snowboard and just bought a car, but i dont like camera :)
mini nuo5 review : really solid stuff. i like long fader, and big eq buttons, it's really cool to mix on it. sound is quite good, we use to plug it on 10kw sound system.
i compare effect to djm600,
- x-fader to put effect on is really powerfull, a lot better than little button of djm.
- delay/echo effect are easiest to use
- i prefer flanger on djm600. i spent some times on control lab (soft to configure effect), but i cant get the same flanger.
- some effect have some low sound so you have to put up the gain when you put effect on |

thanks, i'm glad you like the stuff. if you have any questions about any of the gear i'm using, i would be happy to lend a hand.
i also posted in the production forums, so there's a couple of other pics that are not in this thread. there's stuff i don't have pics of because i just don't have the space to have it set up, but i'm also to lazy to start dragging things out of the closet. :(
zejayman, ebay is your friend! i think i bought this one for about 250 maybe 300, i don't remember. i just remember, when i saw it, i just clicked the "buy it now" button instantly w/out thinking. great faders, great eq, and great sound. this mixer will kill anything that you can buy at the store new for the price i bought this one at.
ray chappell, i love how your set up looks. i can't wait till i'm done buying equipment, and experimenting w/my set up so i can actually commit to buying furniture for my studio. i'm still dreaming of the day that i can get my set up to look something like that. my ghetto arrangement is not that condusive to writing music. =-( |
