The 4th channel isn't useless, you just need 2 soundcards. You can connect the 2nd up to Ableton to take advantage of it, and run the line out to the 4th channel manually. Yes its annoying it doesn't go through the USB, but it still works.
I agree with you on the default Ableton templates though, they could be much better. |
