Recently Sold my CDJ 200s and got some CDJ 1000 MK3s
I also got an awesome deal on a pair of KRK RP 5s ($180 for the pair) and right now my set up is pretty complete!
All i need is an interface/soundcard to connect Ableton/traktor into the DJM 800.

How do you like the 1000s vs. the 200s?
Dream setup bro. |

Well the truth is i'm just getting to know the 1000s but from what I have experienced the biggest difference so far has to be the jog wheel, to me it makes it a lot easier to mix, it feels way more accurate as supposed to the 200s jogwheel. Besides that, the waveform display comes in pretty handy if you are not too familiar with your tunes. I haven't even started messing with the hot cues/hot loops but i'm sure thats is going to be fun once i start to get into that.
On the other side, its kind of a shame that for all the money they cost they don;t even have all the features the 200s and the 800s have. Not that i really miss the effects since the DJM 800 already has them , but the automatic loop/loop cutter would be nice to have especially since you are paying more for one cdj 1000 than for a 200 + 800 together.
All in all they are nice, and one of the main reasons i got them is because of how sexy they look with the DJM 800, but the truth is for what they cost and the features they have anybody would probably be better off buying 2 cdj 800 MK2s for the price of one cdj 1000 mk3.
BUT THEY DO LOOK SEXY! :eyes: :toocool: |

Aww you bastards with your CDJ-1000's. :(
They're so stupidly expensive here, like $1800 AUD each. |
