yea the blur is from taking the pics with the flash off and keepin the shutter open for a long time. the stainless steel table looks like **** with a flash on it, plus the blurry LED effect is kinda cool.
thanks for the compliments. i built the 3 row record holder under the table myself and the stand to hold my laptop behind the mixer.
djlane, i love the mixer. its in awesome. i had originally wanted the nuo5, but it's kind of difficult to get in the US still, and the nuo is running about 999 while the dnx is about 699. i really like the mixer though, no regrets, and i can't wait for the update to come out! |

Tegu, hope your enjoying that mixer, its always an adventure when I get on mine, but now for some pics.
Gonna be adding CDJs of soon, either the CDJ1000 or the Denon DNS5000, and I got a big ass custom table in mind for when I do, can't wait to create it. |

| I really like your layout twilo. I think i'll take cues from how you have it setup in mine so i'll have more room to work. BTW, your xbox must have a vga adapter or something. If it does, how well does it work? I can save a good deal of room if i removed my tv. |

Well if you have reasonably powerful speakers and thin walls you'll need to have them away from the walls a bit. I have a pair of Alesis M1 Active Mk2's. I don't run them too loud, no need but I did give them a foot of space from the back wall. I actually had to move the whole desk out. It's cramped but I don't have any more space for a bigger desk at the moment.
You're correct about the VGA adaptor. I just run the xbox through the second monitor (though I barley use it  ).
I have this one

It runs at 1024x768 and looks much nicer than a conventional television. |

How are those Alesis working out for you? Are they self-powered or do you need a separate amplifier?
Btw, is it absolutely necessary to get them a full foot away from a wall? Because with my current setup that would take some real feats of engineering. |

He stated that he has the Alesis M1 Active Mk2's which are the powered ones. The passive ones need the amp. |
