i just blew 750 bucks on new techs....and i didn't have too much extra money to buy a "quality" mixer...so i bought myself a djx, and turns out it's not so bad, as long as you don't use it for much after 2 hours of continuous use...it seems to have a slight overheating problem...nothing really major from what i've noticed, but it seems to affect the the effects unit the most, the effects come out distorted. i let the mixer cool down for about an hour, and voila it was fine again...i am saving money right now for a more quality mixer...looking into maybe a vestax or djm3000 or a used djm500
there was one other reason that i bought the behringer....they guys at guitar center (albeit it was more behringer's fault) ed up my order, and i had to wait 4 weeks to get the behringer, but they gave it to me for only $160...now tell me where can you get a 4ch, 3band eq, cf curve, kill switches, and a effects unit (it's crappy) for less than $200.... |

| Good stuff! I would be wary of keeping my gear so close to a window tho. Thieves, rain, heat, too many nasty variables for my taste! |

I can't help it, I'm a ball player myself :D I would even dunk while I'm mixing (especially when the rim is that low !!! :stongue: ) On the other hand, I think I'd just smack my face against the wall :crazy: |

That's the problem with my setup, have to be careful not to leave window open when it rains. |
