1600 US for the Korg Zero8 :p
i bet you love that little bastard...I think that both those Korg models will be what other companies try and strive for now. Really great pieces of kit.
I know you didn't buy it at Moog Audio, where at?
(and ffs dont put it on a little stand like that..the korg's are built solid but if it falls on the floor you are going to cry)

where did u get urs from?? and I did get it from Moog... im still thinking if i should get the zero8, Moog told me that i have 7 days to exchange mixers if i wanted to though im leaning more towards keeping... are you getting the "hiss" sound, any gripes??
i just wish they made the knobs bigger.. i feel like i need a tweezer to play with this mixer... |

Thats odd, did they get the Zero8 at Moog too? Because everyone I know that wants one is on a list waiting for the thing to come in. I got mine from someone in upstate New York that ordered a whole skid. I brought him 5 other customers thats why i paid so little. Really the Zero4 is enough(if all you are looking for is a mixer), do you think you need 8 channels? No hiss sound from me, check to see if all the connections to it are ok.(if not take that mother****** back asap and get them to test it...ive heard Moog are s when it comes to returns)
My only gripe is that my ADD hates me for buying it due to having to actually read the instruction manual to be able to understand everything it does (im getting there, but this mixer seems to do everything but the laundry.Can you say pre sets!!). The knobs are just fine, their size will teach you to be precise.:p
ps: take the mixer off that little stand thing now before i slap you for endangering it. |

Yup, they have both , the zero8 and the 4 on display.. everyone's on a waiting list? weird..i didn't know that.. but yet again i've been calling them every week for the past few months asking if they have received them, and i called them again yesterday and told them that i was coming to check it out, so maybe they had me included in the waiting list? i dont know:conf: .. yet again, its not like im a special customer or anything, its my first purchase from moog ever.. and a pretty good one too, i gave them deal taht if i paid it full in cash i wouldn't have to pay the taxes, and they agreed!
man you should have advertised your zero8 price before hand, i would definatly have gotten one... i dont think i need 8 channels at the moment but you never know in the future!
Oh no hiss for me, but i've heard most Zero8s had a hiss sound and that Korg are working on a software update for that (Aparently there are alot of issues they are trying to address)
i haven't touched the manual yet, maybe sometimes soon.. btw, does your bpm counter go into slave mode when changing the bpm in ableton (using midi)?
PS: haha, ill change the layout soon, ill put the efx on top of that stand put the mixer on the table.. happy now? :toothless |
