Don't flex too hard - otherwise it doesn't look natural. :D
Also, there's a brilliant Photoshop oportunity, thanks to the placement of the hand closest to the camera. Anyone?!
(Nice setup BTW) |

Lovely set up mate. Nice and tidy. Good set of cans which is something people usually skimp on.
I like. |

I'd say that coffin weights a tonne!! :) Nice and handy for moving everything pronto though. And the mixers probably don't weight that much. Do you use both the Maudio controller and the Xone 22 or mix and match depending on whether you're using 2 or 4 decks?
really think you should be using the HD25's instead of those 7506's.. We all know the 25's are better :p:p:p:p |

The Coffin is really heavy. I use both the controller and the mixer at the same time. I like the internal channel faders and EQ in traktor scratch pro. I might go back to my original setup which is the external mixer just to get a feel of how the EQ's and faders work on the analogue mixer. Right now i have ouput 5-6 as the maser output and 7-8 as the monitor output. So in the external mixer channel 1 is whats coming outta the speakers which is the master output and channel 2 is for cueing. I use this method because i like to have my track gains exactly the same when I mix which is 0db.
I would love to try the HD25's when I get a chance. |

Interesting way of setting up the gains, had to read it a few times to understand what you meant.
I was only taking the piss about the 25's, likewise though i've never heard the 7506's and would love to know what all the hype is about. |

Nope M8, the story behind that is, i´m a huge fan of DJ Karotte
from FFM/Germany! :D That carrot is a Bdaygift from my Wife
for that reason! :D;):)
Your setup looks also quite nice! :)
The first one, i´ve seen with the new Allen&Heath XOne 22! :)

pic of my setup (it's very mobile) my housemates setup is off to the left.

I'm running:
Traktor Pro
Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1
Vestax VCI-100
Korg Nanopad
Sennheiser HD280 Pro
nighttime view of the full setup:

Housemate is running:
Traktor Scratch Duo
Native Instruments Audio4
Pioneer DJM400
Stanton C324 CD Players
Korg Nanokontrol (recent addition not pictured)
Sony MDR-V500
We route both of our outputs into the Stanton M212 mixer so we don't have to plug or unplug cables.
The Logitech z680's will be gone very soon once my HK Lucas PA arrives :) so please hold your comments about the e speakers ;) |
