| i use soundforge 7.0 also can you post a mix, or send it via yousendit.com, so i can hear how it sounds. You don't have to send a long sample but i just want to hear how your dxm sounds cause mine sounds like garbage even when listening through my monitors like i said before |

well some people like myselfs dont just all of a sudden have a sweet ass setup - you build on it. you add to it and u replace equipment.
i started off with 2 Stanton ST-60s and a Stanton SK-5 Mixer
sold the mixer and bought a Numark Matrix 3.
sold the turntables and bought Numark TTXs.
bought FinalScratch1
sold the mixer and bought a DJM600.
sold FS1, bought FS2.
Tony Blair bought me 2 Technics 1210s and SSL
sold SSL and bought bought CDJ1000s.
if ur not mega rich or dont have much financial responsibility its not likely u'll buy everything at once. its took me 5 years to get my dream setup - and now i dont leave the house and have no friends |

Plus 1.
I started off with:
Stanton 4 chan mixer, don't remember the model
Numark CDN-90
then went to:
Denon DNX-400 mixer
and added a Numark TTX
5 months later added:
a Numark TT500
4 months later:
Sold the CDN-90 and traded in the TTX & TT500 for Tech 1200's mk5
1 month later:
Traded the DN-X400 for a Numark DXM-06 and bought Numark monitors.
2 months later:
Added a CDJ-800
1 month later:
Added a CDJ-800
1 month later:
Gave Numark monitors to Kadomony and bought KRK Rp-5's
3 months later:
Traded DXM-06 for a Numark 5000fx.
Holy crap.
My next planned update will be a DJM-800 in the late summer. |

| That setup would have been awsom if the desk was abit bigger so you could have two turntables along with the two cds and the laptop. Owell, its still damn nice. |

| ^ trust me i know, its a pain in the ass. right now i just have both technics upstairs running with my djm300 and the final scratch, and the 2 denons with the xone62 on that bar. ive got more than enough good ideas from this thread for a complete table that im gonna build this summer that'll hold ALL my gear. |
