It's been a year and a half since I last mixed. I stopped in a Nov, Moved to new house in Feb, and finally finished a spot for my cd decks.
minimal efforts...

All I did was cut two small angled pieces of wood for under support. For the top I cut a piece of cheap wood to fit, then screwed on a front piece. The top is just sitting on the supports. I taped a surge protector underneath the shelve above. And I fished 2 rca's and extension cord wire through the back of the book shelf and out the side where I plug it in.
Will it fall apart...yes! Thats why there are no detailed pics of under the new shelf. but maybe this will get me back spinning. I think I just about forgot how. I opened my cd book and the last cd I burnt was titled 11.15.07. yowzers. |

Out of curiosity, I'm assuming that's the X25 Sefour table? I'm just wondering how you've attached the laptop to it? Is it a DIY job? Or a bracket they sell?
Also, how's the stability of the table? I was looking at getting something that's a little more portable and this could be perfect I'm just worried about it wobbling a little?
Cheers

| The laptop is sitting on a Stanton Uberstand that is placed under the turntable. The stand is very stable. I Dj at a lounge in my building twice a week and take it down the elevator with me in one piece. The new version is collapsable. I spin on it for four hours straight and it's not wobbly at all with everything on it. |

Here are some pics of my setup before I moved it all around earlier today.... and tidied it up (will post new pics shortly), room is still in a bit of a mess after moving stuff around right this minute....
unfortunately the desk I'm using atm cant fit 2 decks and both speakers on so I've had to improvise and put 1 speaker on top of 2 spyboxes (and a box) to be level with the other.... oh well, it'll do for now!
