I acctually chose the mixer over the xone due to the fact that its more fun to use and gives you so much more creativity, and the decks came down to the wire with them and the 5g's because i simply think these are better to use and i enjoy working them more :happy2:
...Not to mention the 5g's are a rediculous price considering what they added between there previous model's |

Absouloutly love them...
I did a thread a while back when i was deciding between these and the 5g's because i was worried about the slightly higher wow and flutter compared to the techs... i personally dont think its even noticible at all and if it would be the high torque makes for insta-correction.
I mix techno mainly and had two tracks playing at the same time from start to fin didnt fall apart once from beginning to end.
But all in all to mix with there brilliant... I do a fair bit of scratching as well and there uber cool for that.
I can only really recommend them, I prefer using them over every other deck, I am getting this question a bit too... I might do an unbiased review of them and give you all a look when I am done |

Right, heres pictures of my setup. My room has jus been done up so it looks all good (still need to get curtains tho...) :D
Setup consists of;
Numark TT200's
DM1002MKII mixer
Sennheiser HD25
Numark M20 speakers
This is my first setup though i'm planning, possibly at the end of the year to get top of the range turntables or cd decks + a nice mixer! |
