Seeing all these setups always makes me wish i had more $$.
Since i have a good computer im aiming more towards getting production gear. New mixer has been crossed off the list for now and im goen for an m-audio Axiom49. Looks like one hell of a nice midi controller. |

Thanx! The table is just an old cupboard made by my dad many years ago.
I've just put and extra top it on so everything fits, screwed the cdj bracket to the back and I drilled some holes for the wiring.
Soon I'll have my new booth where everything fits in perfectly, including my records.

Vestax PMC 46 mk2 Rotary, and the three black rackmounts below it are kill switches- one set for each source.

Dont know if you saw my thread when i brought them back from the US, but they were cheap enough.
Bascially got three for slightly more than the price I would have paid for 2.
I doubt I could have got them cheaper than I did- as I got a hefty discount for cash and then further discount from the exchange rate. As for whether I would have got the mk3s...er.... for the same price I paid? Yes. For more $ (ie, what the mk3 is supposed to RRP at)? Nope. The only extra feature that interests me on them is hot looping to be honest, and if that was a major issue, I would have bought DVJs instead as they offer that too (albeit at a ridiculous price!) Happy with the Mk2s. |

I know, expensive! wow three CDJs, three Turntables....how do you afford all of that?? I have two CDJs, a fairly inexpensive mixer, a cheap pair of headphones I need to upgrade, a crappy PA system that will be replaced with a good pair of monitors..whenever I get them...when I have my set up half way decent looking i'll post a pic on here. Right now it's boring as hell... |
