You can buy that set easily... it's really good. Very, very clean sound, big bass. Awesome monitoring speakers.

I'll give you $60 and one virgin woman for your entire setup :)
I like it. |

| Nice offer man, but with a setup like that, I get 10 virgins in that room every night. They all come out non-virgins after.:D :D |

alright, you drive a hard bargain. Add in a half drank can of luke-warm bud light to my offer.
hehe. that is a sweet setup, if I did have it I would be too scared to use it. I'd make it look poopy. |

1000MKII's... you can tell by the color. 800's are silver, 1000's are black. Yeah man it's sweet but it's kinda tempting to make a mix which is not gonna have any legit tracks, lol. Gotta watch out for that when mixing burnt CD's... |

Just got my first deck :) Already had my mixer (A&H Xone:32) for a few months now, but finally saved up the cash for a couple of whitelabels, a pair of Sennheiser HD280 Pro's, and my first 1210MK5. Here are my babies set up.
Allen & Heath Xone:32
Alesis M1 Active MK2 (pair)
Technics SL1210-MK5
Sennheiser HD280 Pro Silver Headphones
Shure Whitelabels (pair... cart #2 is awaiting my second deck)

Cheers jade, it certainly took a lot of patience, even when my setup is missing a deck, this moment has been over a year in the making (probably largely due to my vinyl habit).

a year in the making...
yeah all that vinyl and just one turntable..so you just listen mostly? i would suggest ripping them and mixing in using a computer atleast just for the practice |

hahaha now you're in paul
Jade - well until yesterday I couldn't even listen to them. So for now I mainly listen, but I've been attempting to beatmatch tunes on vinyl to mp3s I play through the mixer too. I have been mixing with software for about a year now, but no need to rip my vinyl to mp3 cos all the vinyl I have is stuff I bought after hearing the mp3s in the first place, so I have them all. If it weren't for MP3 I wouldn't know what music to buy in support of my heroes :) |
