Yeah, that'd scare the piss out of me. I have a really strict no-liquid policy. If someone's drinking around the decks they can't be too close, and no beverage is allowed to sit on the table unless it's on a surface lower than all of the gear.

i am not using the digital outs, because i have original CDJ1000s. they have a digital out, BUT, in digital mode, the CD can only be played normally. pitch, scratching, looping, hot cues, searching, even cueing is disabled on the deck in digital mode.
and both those beers were mine :) |

just realized who this is and laughed my ass off. reccess.co.uk was my dj learning archive back in 97, when i was using virtual turntables version 1.80 with a crack and a headphone splitter to mix.
now, 10 years later, i have a whack of pro equipment, a slew of gigs under my belt, a production company, and recess is asking me for advice! killer :) |
