PvD uses the Sony MDR-V6 (or 7506, same cans). Great great cans, sound great, sturdy little mofos. Do a search, quite a few people use them and we all swear by them.
Punjabi's look like they are the 7506, the V6 have red stickers. |
Cheers mate, I've had my mind set on the senn HD25's..
But i dunno if i'm being too close minded as i do like sennheiser products! (which coincidentally, i also found out that they're the main distributor for RANE products in ireland :))
Anyway i'll do a search for em, thanks again.

Had a look on ebay the other day for em, but haven't seen any on there recently. You can usually get them for around £110 on there. A fair bit better then the £140~ they charge in the shops..
I'm sure they could be caught slightly cheaper if you're lucky too..

Two things i would never buy, mostly just because of my personal preference. |
better than some piece of numark/gemini/stanton/etc. starter mixer and worthless PC garbage. |

Wrong way round ;) He uses 7506's. But like you said, they are the same cans (except for red stickers and the 7506's have gold plated connections).
I have the V6's, absolutely love them! |

Same here, they're the best pair of headphones I've ever had.. they're light, durable, comfy, and sound freakin' amazing! |

| yeah exactly leko. They are everything I would want in a pair of headphones. The best part is that there finally getting broken in and they sound wonderful. When you first pull them out of the box you probably won't like the sound of them that much, but over time as you break them in you'll love it. I also have a pair of HD280pros and these completely destory the 280s. |
