Get the fostex monitors because they are clearer in the midrange @ that price range. |

Finally got my new SL1200's last night and set it all up on the table I bought from Ikea. Have been mixing all night, haha.

Is it me or is the image not being displayed in the topic even though it has the correct tags?
It's a DJM-300 that I picked up secondhand for $300 AUD off ebay.
The decks I also got off ebay for $1500 AUD brand new. They came with Ortofon Nightclub glow in the dark slipmats and were preloaded with Ortofon Pro S carts. I'm pretty happy considering I'd be lucky to pick up the same decks for $1600-1700 new in a shop.
I've only just started learning to mix, but I wanted to start with the best (some may beg to differ, heh), at least when it comes to decks. :) |
