Hurley is alot like Charlie. Generally liked by most fans, but they really don't serve as more than a plot device. At least Hurley could become a major key with the numbers though...allCharlie is good for is doing crazy things and it being blamed on his heroin use
I dont particularly care if hurley dies :( |

| I find it funny how to skip past the question of how a fat guy doesn't lose weight on an island they throw into the plot him finding candy bars and hidden stashes on the island :D |

theyve asked him to lose weight for future episodes, so im sceptical he will die this week. |

| so, is this all in Hurleys head or not? Puts a good twist to the show. |

I would seriously be pissed if this show ended up being a dream or someone's fantasy or something. That would be such a copout.
I wasn't crazy about the Hurley scenes in this episode except for the twist at the end but I think the short scenes in the bunker were good, started to open the main plot a bit more. |

I was beginning to wonder why a girl like Libby would have a thing for Shamu... then the twist at the end... good twist.
Anything to do with the bunker is good, it's what drives the story. I wish Sayid punched out Ana Lucia after she made him miss with the gun. It is cool how Fake Henry said he never pushed the buttons... still wish I caught last week's episode. |

| I dont believe its all a dream that was just Hurley multiple personality talking. You'd have to be crazy to believe him. That shot of Libby in the end in the institution, I believe she looks like a patient but is probably a psychiatrist incognito. In a previous episode she said she was a psychiatrist and the way she helped Hurley through his food and mental problems suggests she's no mental patient. |

she herself could have ended up there because of the things she had to deal with as a psychiatrist?
She is the only one we dont know much about, havent had a flash back for her yet...was she following hurley around?
Dont think its all a dream either.... |

| If it is all a dream... then the Lost creators just ripped off that movie Identity |

it's not a dream; yesterday's episode was meant to put on an end to the rumors that it could be. the creators have stated that everything that happens on the show will have a rational, scientific explanation so creating a "twin peaks" or "who shot j.r.?"-style copout is highly unlikely.
the ep. does raise many new questions about libby tho... |

I'll believe it when I see it.
So we're only up to where the tail section people have joined the rest, and the black dude was talking to his son on the computer. So far they've only added stuff without explaining anything, its getting to the point where its just way too complex to have a rational explanation to wrap it all together.
Remember in the first few episodes where there was the giant animals killing people. Whatever happened to those? The writers seem to add stuff and then completely forget about things for a while only to bring them back sporadically. Not to mention the Irish guy in the bunker when they first cracked it open. They're on an island, surely they wouldn't come back in contact with him somewhere. |
