what i'm going to do, when the show is completely finished, is rewatch it S1-S6 then...watch it backwards S6-S1. i feel it would make more sense from back to front
and i have a feeling john locke is jacob for some reason. no idea why. i just do |

Locke when he is much older. Remember, the island talks to Locke ;)
I think that Jacob is Locke and when Locke goes to kill Jacob he will be facing himself but won't be able to do it.

| i have a slight hunch it may be richard alpert, but i may be wrong. richard has been on the island for a very long time, even during the time when whitmore and eloise were on the island. |

| I was wrong about John Locke. He is the man. Jack has not impressed me this season. |

i like it... he totally called ben out when he asked 'i bet you've never seen jacob, have you?' ... no ben's never seen jacob, john would have remembered! |

| I love how this episode had much more of Richard than previous ones and that him and Ben are at times shocked and surprised by John's actions. It's always cool to see Ben in a state where he isn't in control. |

Massive wtf at the ending of this episode, he's going to kill Jacob? I thought Jacob was some kind of an already dead spirit? :conf: Overall it was a pretty surreal episode, loved it.
I laughed my arse off at Hurley's attempts to convince Dr. Chen. "Who's the president of the United States?" "Huhhhhhhhh... Ok dude we're from the future." :stongue: |

| Why does the fat guy always have to be comedy relief? |

Killing Jacob = Proving he doesn't exist in front of all his followers.
That, of course, doesn't mean that Jacob doesn't exist. It's just what Locke thinks ;) |

my favorite part of the episodes:
how everything that has basically happened on the island is due to the fact that they themselves have changed the past by being in the distant future. which essentially what they are doing, none of it is coincidence. lockes part specially
and how miles realizes his father didn't abandon his family, but rather save them, and the only way to make sure he was saving them was to be a complete dick to his wife, really touching moment, especially how chang expressed this smile when he realized miles was his son and he knew that whatever he did worked out |
