The dramatic effect of those deaths is mitigated by all that zombie and sideways reality . A bit like 'Heroes' at a point where nothing mattered since anyone could somehow be resurrected/time travel.
When there's no rules, the impact is small. |

im only sad that they didnt make sayids death dramatic...he deserved it as the most bad ass lost character.. |
I wonder if he somehow jumped in to a side room and closed the door in time, thu saving himself from four packs of C4(!). We never saw him get blown up, like we did with Arzt and Illana |

Oh ! Dude.
It was Sayid's CHOICE to take the bomb!
If they had stayed there, the only survivor would have been Sawyer, since through his actions he would've cause the explosion.
But since Sayid took the bomb by choice and can't kill himself, he must be ok. (See Alpert, Jack, and the dynamite scene.)
...maybe. |

I was going to say that, don't worry sun and jin are still alive in sideways lost. They've killed off characters so frequently and casually I find its lost its shock value and impact. |

| I thought only Jack and Richard were immortal... Did they explain that others were too? |

or maybe they really would've been ok even though sawyer pulled the wires?
maybe sayid taking the bomb is what enabled the "rules" to make it explode |

no. richard is a different case than everyone else he can't kill himself, someone else has to do it.
The point the producers are making is MIB can't directly kill the candidates, they have to do it. in this case sawyer pulls the wires, if he had left the bomb alone like jack told him to no one would have died. Anyone of the candidates can kill each other through their own actions. |

I'm pissed that Sayid, Sun, Jin, and possibly Frank died, and not Sawyer. What a ing idiot.
And he passed out and then was underwater, so he shouldn't be alive at all.
Neither should Kate after being shot.
They should have just put the bomb in a room far away and locked the door and hoped for the best.
I hate Lost Logic  |

Nobody from the main characters has been killed off since the end of season 3 and Locke in season 5. |

Really annoying hearing Sun and Jin talk to each other in english  |
May i add that it was ing time to see them dead. Btw why didn't Widmore simply say to the candidates that the MIB can't kill them ? |
