Just a whild thought: I have a feeling that someone will somehow kill Loc/MIB. The island must have a balance of good and evil where Jack and Clair essentially take on the rolls of Jacob and MIB respectively.

that kinda fits. i'm almost convinced jack is the replacement for jacob. maybe sawyer can be mib.

i'm pretty sure the boy is the 'referee' of this whole madness. he makes sure the game is played by the rules and informs people when they are "out of bounds".
jack is def the candidate, he has gone from the biggest believer of free will on the show to now, in my opinion the biggest believer in fate (i believe that's what the last episode was trying to showcase, that jack truly does believe in destiny, not in coincidences anymore )
