We have suns flash forward and jins flash back. Jins story takes pace in the year 2000(year of the dragon) and suns takes place in 2005 |

| For you guys thinking about alternative realities the main reason they introduced Charlie's deaths and Desmonds visions is that no matter what happens what is meant to happen will happen regardless if you try to change the future. This throws out the alternative realities idea, plus the old lady that sells Desmond the ring explains the inner workings of foreknowledge and time travel when the guy with the red shoes gets killed. |

Jin didnt leave the island...he isnt one of the "oceanic 6". The tombstone is the only connection sun has to jin off of the island as a place where he will always be. She is just crying because she had the baby and jin wasnt there.
He is still on the island and she cant contact him to let him know that she did indeed have a baby and its a girl. If she were to make contact then the world will know there were more survivors and where they are. We know someone(widmore) is watching the "oceanic 6" So, she goes to the "fake" tombstone and 'tells him". It was just a way of coping for her, telling him what is going on. |

| I just thought about this, whenever they talk to the new people (people from the boat or whatever) who say the wreckage was found with all 3## bodies on board, what do they think when 6 of those people whose body were found show up alive? (talking about the media / everyday people) |

If hes not dead, why have a tombstone. And if he died on the island, she would know the date. There's no reason to put a fake date on that stone. |

Oh there is.
Surely some deal was made for those particular six (whether Michael is 6 is still up for grabs) to make it back to humanity. Part of it more than likely stated that they had to go about their lives as if they were THE SOLE SURVIVORS of the crash... or consequences would occur.
Everything's a theory right now, though. Haha
The fake date is the crash date for Oceanic 815 (derp). |
