"Season 4 is about who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back. Season 5 is about why they need to get back, and season 6 is about what happens when they get back."

Oh shiiiiet, so Erin (Aaron?) is there with her. Seems like some of them decided to stay, or died or who knows.
Getting very interesting. I thought the baby was Sawyers which is why Jack didn't want to see it, but now I'm totally lost.
i dont think jack wants to see the baby becuz somewhere along the line he finds out that claire is his half sister..and that maybe she dies and he couldnt stop it.. thats jus my theory for now..
anyways todays ep was one of the best one of the season so far right behind sayids.

By far the best episode this season and probably Top 3 of all seasons out so far. Anything involving Desmond is always top notch.
-The conversation he had with Penny at the end gave me goosebumps!
-I'm really liking this new Daniel character. I hope we'll have an episode centred around him so we can learn more about what's going on in the Lost universe. I'm still trying what relevance the scene where he's seen crying after seeing wreckage of Oceanic 815 on TV a few episodes back.

That too. I'm trying to remember what Daniel's reaction was when he first met Desmond; whether he knew him or not.

i am sure we will soon find out what Desmond did in the past to affect Farraday in some way to make him his "center".
anyways, another scenario that could be happening is everyone is after Farraday's machine, and the island is being used as a lab of some sorts to test why subjects were dying of brain aneyrusms from the machine, and if people were able to reproduce with the machine? this episode in my opinion is the closest episode this season that is related to the thriller trailer back last summer ......
just to refresh our memories. :)

Aaron was born on the island, though. Would he still be considered one of the Oceanic Six if he never, technically, was on that flight? lol
In the previews for the "Aaron" episode, they said "...and another one of the Oceanic 6 will be revealed." He's one.

He didnt, because at that point Desmond hadnt time traveled yet. Daniel on the island would have remembered him at the moment when Desmond time traveled and met him.
Although, obviously, I have no idea how time travel actually works. :p
And why do Desmond's episodes always have to be so emotional? God.

Loved the latest episode. :)

I love things that deal with time travel but then it usually creates all these holes in the plot with most movies. I hope they don't screw this up.
Here's my question though. Are they treating time as a straight line graph in this show? As in this always happened to Desmond at every time. Or are they treating time as dimensions in which if you mess with the past it creates a new time dimension at that moment and splits off from the original time line? I hope I explained this correctly. In the first scenario it is possible for Desmond to stop the plane crash if he went back in time and then the present would be altered instantly with only him knowing the outcome. In the second scenario even if he were to go back in time and do that it would create an alternate time line but if he went back to his known present he would jump lines to where the plane still crashed.

Well it's obvious there's going to be holes, and those holes could be pretty big. I especially thought the whole "you need to find a constant" deal was so unrealistic, made-for-tv physics that it's not funny. :p I mean, really. You find someone in both timelines and suddenly that's enough for your brain to stop travelling 8 years back and forth. That's gotta make loads of sense.
Yet it was a great episode, very fast paced, didn't feel like it was 40 minutes long at all. This season has been really entertaining so far, only the last episode about the baby was a bit lame.
I've read some spoilers around that Michael isn't going to be Ben's man on the boat, but I think that's hard to believe, it seems so glaringly obvious they're going that way. :p At least we now have confirmation that it isn't any of the 4 guys that went in the helicopter.
