They've said several times that the smoke monster is just the islands security system.
I want to know what happens if you are back in time and you run into yourself (atleast with regard to Lost universe)
but yea..this season rocks. |

Daniel said that you cant change the past. So something would stop you from seeing yourself. Maybe something stupid like tripping over, or something more hardcore like the smoke monster coming to beat you up |

was obviously the past, is some point before ben did the "purge" and gassed all of the dharma initiative. probably around the same time faraday was walking by marvin candle (guess the 60s?) |

i don't think so, they cut the corner a lot on this one story wise... too confusing and hastily explained.

I'm sure that Mexican guy will be explained in the next episode too, he'll prolly be significant for sure.
I like how the episode wrapped up how they get back to the island. I did NOT want them to drag that part on for an episode or two, however I was hoping for more than just another plane ride... I thought Eloise had an actual entranceway back to the island for the Oceanic 6 to use. |

Also, what was written in the past tense got ripped from Locke's letter, that was a good clue. |

I started thinking I had seen him earlier in the show, maybe having interacted with Jack at some point that Jack did not remember. Turns out the actor played the terrorist leader in Vantage Point, which Matthew Fox starred in. |
