I actually like MiB now after understanding his story. Doesn't seem quite as evil as before. I really did think we were going to get his name at the end but apparently not. Maybe in the final.
As for tying up loose ends, well....great storytelling often involves leaving a few select pieces to the imagination rather than spoon feeding all the info to the viewer/reader.
The finale is pretty long so I'm confident we will get a bunch of answers but don't hold your breath for a total wrap up.
Personally, I really want to know more about their mother (adopted one) and where she is originally from.

Good to very good episode. Didn't quite get that sudden change of Ben Linus, though. What made him switch back to the "dark" side again? Or was it a long con all along
