farraday = eloise's son
eloise and widmore were both others way back when on the island
farraday works for widmore, on his boat and got him to the island

plausible hypothesis. :p

i was thinking about that connection too, but was thinking more about if they actually showed whidmore and eloise working together to find the island.

don't think they have, in saying that eloise has helped widmore though, wouldn't it of been easy for him to go to just go to the island. This may not be possible however, because im uncertain as to how widmore came to be on the island.
If the oceanic 6 had to create a replica of when they crashed, maybe its impossible for widmore to do the same, hence him having to send others to the island.

So the police had no problems with Locke being shot at which got a guy killed, then driving recklessly in traffic causing danger to other people, and driving with a broken foot none the less?

You guys are overlooking something. When Desmond turned the safe key and the hatch imploded, there was a bright flash and it made the island visible for a brief time. Remember the S2 finale? As soon as Desmond did that, the guys Penny had on the North Pole got a message on their screen and called Penny. This is how she knew where to look, and the same applies for Widmore. ;)

So who do we think is the real evil one? Ben or Widmore?
narcism
^^ think they are both manipulative and equally as bad as each other.
