They dont have the scripts written, but the plot has been written from the beginning. Just because you cant understand the show doesnt mean it's "BS to fulfill the contract." |

Noooo... he did that to blow a hole through the back wall. Did you not see what he climbed through? |
during that time i was washing my dishes and flipping channels between the spurs-lakers game and lost. when i flipped back to lost, i remember ben was walking inside a tunnel. i didn't see him go through the debris like you guys mentioned. :(
anyways, good finale. now we have to wait until january/february. :( |

| I thought the finale was the weakest we've seen so far. Loved all the Ben moments... but everything else felt kinda forced and suck. |

So seriously then.
I've never watched it, but everyone goes nuts over it. But, it's been made a huge point of that it doesn't tie up all the questions. I'm afraid this will piss me off.
Is it actually worth me going and buying, or would you consider it "Good to watch on TV, but I wouldn't pay money to watch it"? |
i dunno. truthfully, i was never even interested in the show until my friend lent me Season 1. As I watched it...as first singly then in marathons...admittedly i was hooked. Then I went ahead and bought Season 2 and even tho it wasnt as dramatic as Season 1 it was still intriguing. I actually liked Season 3 the least out of all of them but that is just my imo...i don't know. im used to watching shows with serial storylines so i guess its easy for me to get hooked. The background stories of each character and how they relate to one another also helps to draw the viewers in...
as for unbelievable stuff happening on the show, i totally suspended my disbelief a LOOOONG time ago. Basicaly, ANYTHING can happen where this island is concerned...so when I watched the finale i was just like...hmm...WHAAAA...umm ok...interesting. I guess. I would however like to see HOW they make it back to the island though.
i would however totally watch it from the beginning again one day, just so i can remember and relive how it all began. this is def a show like no other. So I'm so glad i bought the DVD sets. Sometimes u need to watch something more than once to understand it. But this season they are doing the repeats with popup explanations, so that serves the purpose already.

btw i think the previous season box sets are on sale now. soo worth looking into...:D |

Yeah, me too. Obviously it's possible since Widmore's people were able to find it.

I would wait until the show is over and get the complete box set. I have the box set of West Wing and I have to tell you, it was totally worth it to just wait and buy the whole thing. It's like a super-fan trophy. |

lolz yeah...i just wonder WHERE the island MOVED to. Did it move thru TIME...or just to another part of the world? :conf: Did it and everyone /thing on it just all become suspended in time for the instance it disappeared, then came back? And how did Jeremy Bentham (sp?) make it off the island to talk to the Oceanic 6? |
|

| Definitely through space, but totally possible that it moved through time, too. Which would be crazy... |

| well the tape that played in the Orchid did say something about time travel. well we'll have to see. lolz. |

and here comes the most confusing movie plot ever:
http://www.illsquad.com/files/primer_timeline.jpg (the film is Primer, and it's awesome by the way)
It could be Bentham, from a different timeline.

He obviously had to move the island. Bad things happen, move the island. I thought that was kind of implied. |

Liked the idea of Christian Shephard popping up at the end when Michael died. Emphasized the idea of him being some sort of the island's/Jacob's/destiny's (which is the same apparently) ambassador: Michael couldn't die because his task/fate was to save the O6, once that was accomplished his time was up. Too bad Jin had to die as well, really like the fella. Although you never know with LOST.
I saw Locke lying in the coffin from a mile away once things on the island were moving in a certain direction (i.e. Him becoming the new Others' leader and the debate between him and Jack). Will be interesting to see how Season 5 explains what happened between the "moving of the island" and John Locke / Jeremy Bentham (utilitarism doesn't really fit Locke tbh) lying dead in a coffin.
Oh and Sawyer + Juliette remaining almost alone on the island reminded one of the blue lagoon. He must have an awesome time shagging that cute blondie ad infinitum now. |

| Awesome awesome awesome episode. Although I figured it would be Locke in the coffin, it was still a surprise. Did anyone see the alternate endings? They had Sawyer and Desmond in the coffin instead. Apparently it was in case someone spilled the beans about Locke. |
