Lonely, lost people all on an plane crash on and island full of mysteries. They run into other people on the island and many people die over several seasons involving polar bears, sharks, time travel, and egyptian statues. These people make relationships with other people and in the end find redemption for the past problems in their life. They fight evil and win and eventually they die. They all wait in purgatory together until they are all dead and then let go of their lives and enter the after life together. |
right. So there was absolutely no relevance to the giant polar bears, smoke, underground bunkers, the time travel etc.
basically what i thought, a bunch of bullocks. |

Did you watch the show?
If you did, you would know there was relevance to it all.
If you wanted to know the relevance you should have asked for more than a one paragraph basic response.
But, please, keep on talking you know nothing about. It's cool. |

basically, the real world got a happy ending as hurley and ben get to rule the island for the next x centuries without MIB messing things up.
the sideways world, thanks to desmond, had a separate happy ending as jack and friends got to remember their other life in its entirety. the sideways is still circa 2004 imo, i refuse to believe any of the characters 'forgot' the past or were re-born in aaron/ji-yeon's case. jacob knew this would happen, which is why he went to the trouble of getting widmore to bring desmond to the island... this was jacob's reward to the losties for salvaging the island he messed up by creating MIB.
how does jacob just 'know'? it's kind of lame and not many people have mentioned it, but seems like the light, along with containing supernatural gifts, contains collective human knowledge. this is why claudia spoke english after the fake mom touched her, and how they knew english at all (considering it was ancient times), and jacob/MIB 'just knew' to play backgammon and miraculously ended up not being unsociable feral children.
although this season had its ups and downs, and more downs than any previous season, i liked the ending. i'm satisfied with leaving the blanks up to my imagination. |

thats why I was asking stick. |

Not really. You're asking about stuff that's relevant, but not actually important to the overall story which is what I was summarizing. Not my fault that you think the story sucks, even though you haven't seen it, because things that are relevant aren't as important as you want.
Still, keep throwing out the insults. It's cool. |

Sorry if it irritates me when people talk about something they know nothing about. |

actually you're the one talking about someone you don't know.
The way the show was portrayed it was as if this Dharma (still waiting for Greg) was a major part of the whole 'reason' everything was happening. Obviously it wasn't really that important to the story.
Hence my comment that it all seemed a bit like a bunch of bullocks, that what appeared to be this major part of the story wasn't actually important at all. Me saying before that it wasn't relevant was actually correct, it wasn't relevant to the overall story. |

im pretty sure they were speaking latin through the whole episode, but instead of subtitling the whole episode, they just had the characters speak english |
