Not true. They were important, but not the reason everything was happening. The reason everything happened the way it did was because of Jacob and MIB. Everyone else were pawns in the grand scheme of things, even Dharma (their role was not insignificant)

Seriously: did you watch the whole show? Cause this is very pointless trying to explain this to somebody who only knows it through friends or commercials.

I watched the first few seasons (maybe up to 3-4, somewhere around there), but I didn't have time to keep up with it much after that. It got moved around the timeslots a lot and changed channels, think they may have even skipped a season here (it just disappeared for a long time).

If I were you I'd just download the whole series and watch it all over again.

For those people that want to pony up and buy the complete Lost series, there is a bonus feature,” Michael just told our Kevin Pereira of Attack of the Show!, which airs tonight at 7 on E!’s brother network G4. “Which is um, you could call it an epilogue. A lost scene. It’s a lot; it’s 12 or 14 minutes that opens a window onto that gap of unknown time between Hurley (Jorge Garcia) becoming number one and the end of the series.”
Michael says this extra footage is not the premise for a spinoff. “It’s self-contained. Although, it’s a rich period in the show’s mythology that ‘s never been explored, so who knows what will come of it.”
That said, as I reported earlier, we’ll find out what happens to Walt on the DVD as well. And so for the last time ever (sniff!), I think I get to say, Lost spoiler alert! Whatcha wanna bet that during Hurley and Ben’s adventures on the island, they run into Walt a few years into the future, when he’s oh, 18 and looking just as Malcolm David Kelley looks now?

ok, i have never watched a single episode of "lost" in my life, and decided to watch the season finale just for s/to see what all the fuss is about... and it sucked. i was lost (get it? lololol) the whole time, nothing made sense, there was a crying fat guy with a bad haircut.. lots of plot holes and such. so basically what i'm trying to say is, from the lone hour and forty-some minutes from the very end of a show that i've never seen, i think that "lost" sucks.
