I wouldn't call the episode "filler," but it answered questions that I mostly didn't care about. I really don't care about Sawyer's daughter or who has Aaron now or all the BS Kate went through (she's still hot, but is becoming the least-interesting character IMO). I'm sure some people liked all the drama, so good for them.
It was interesting listening to them try to explain how time worked because I'm sure they're explaining it from the point of view of how the writers want us to see it. I do agree it was a bit of a cop out with Alpert saying that Ben would have his mind erased, but who knows what that means. At least they made it obvious that the temple is the source of the weird stuff on the island.
All I can say is that I already have a LOST hard-on for next week. Ben, the temple and the smoke monster...what more could you ask for? |

I feel pretty much the same way. It's like the writers are trying to tie up all the lose ends they created and force things down a certain path for those reasons. It's lost, no pun intended, a natural feel and flow. We can see the writers pulling strings... I still enjoy it but the writers have gone overboard creating a complicated scenario and then trying to explain it to us, when all they need to do was write an entertaining story with good character development and dialog. |

How does Kate and Clementine's mother know each other (they talked as if they knew each other from past) Plus Celementine called her Aunt Kate?
I think Ben knew JOhn Locke would come back to life in the island and had to kill him to get the rest of the oceanic 6 back to island. Anyways I hope Locke throws some bows on that fool.
Damn I can't wait for next week. |

clementines mother was selling fake gold necklaces and kate got her back buy buying one so the woman she was trying to scam bought some too..in a gas station if i remember correctly. |

They're definitely not filler episodes. They're just not as "OMG" anymore because the mystery is starting to wear off.
They're probably leaving Faraday for a later episode because it'll probably be something big. Remember when they showed Daniel passing by Dr. Pierre Chang in the very first episode of the season? I'm guessing Daniel did something...
As for Danielle Rousseau: she's dead. Or not on the island yet :p

It was ok. It was confirmed that Ben tried to kill Penelope. The smoke monster is still a mystery though |

i enjoyed this episode. it brings forth a lot of new things to look forward to, especially bens reaction when he found out the 6 were in the dharma

very amazing, so much ew stuff to look fwd to know, i was trying to find the thread after i saw teh episode, could not find it, finally getting a closer look at the smoke monster thingy, its still not clear what exactly it is, is that Jacob?
Ben finding out, the oceanic 6 were in dharma was pwn, but im still curious, how did he not know about them since he killed all the dharma ppl to live on the other side of the island. |

| Really great episode! Wish they explained the Smoke Monster more. I love Ben not knowing the answers to everything, actually having to be cautious when entering his house and the temple, etc. just wish more was explained about the island. |
