I don't think Daniel is dead. If you remember last year's Comic Con video, it's clearly Dan behind the camera. You can hear him talking a couple of times. This video hasn't been filmed yet, therefore Daniel can't be dead yet.
Although, there is also the possibility that something was changed and that Daniel is dead and the video was never filmed. But I don't think so. |

Seems pretty dead to me. Comic Con vids are more a marketing gag than an authentic part of the saga (although las year's Orchid vid was eventually incorporated into the season finale). I believe he's dead, but might reappear in all kinds of forms (flashbacks, time travelling, whatever). Really liked the charakter, though. |

I recommend that you do begin to watch it. Season 5 is about to end in a couple of weeks and the 6th and final season will begin until Jan/Feb next year so the timing to catch up is perfect. Just rent or buy (I recommend that you buy) the DVDs and you won't be able to stop watching the damn thing, lol. :) |

remember the first time I got Lost 1, I think I missed a day of work, I watched the whole season in less than 2 days.

same! i lost an entire weekend to that 1st season. Dominos & blockbuster made a killing off me that weekend
i remember when the blockbuster near me didn't have disc 4 of season 1... i just stared blankly at the guy until he was like "the one up the street does though". |
