I actually wasn't expecting Locke to get shot... good twist there. I wish they revealed more on who/what Jacob is. I guess the island is like a fountain of youth/healing place and that's why they are taking all the children. Good good episode.

there is no way locke is dead [the facts that he's enormously popular and central to the storylines notwithstanding, he appeared to get shot in the spot where his missing kidney is, sparing him any organ damage and allowing the island to work its magic].

yes, its quite obvious that he isnt dead. He'll probably show up well into the next season..

The only thing that confuses me is why didnt Ben shoot him again. He of all people should know that you have to make sure when killing somebody on the island..
