| Very good episode. At least its not like the old days you can still go online and watch it. I'm actually going to have to do the same for 24 I missed this weeks. |

| a very shocking ending. it's not like we knew Sayid was going to do it, but it really shifts the direction where the show is going to go. |

it was but after he did it, it made sense. I'm positive that he's not dead, you know how if the island wants for you to live you can't die, for example, john miracles recovery after ben shot him dead. |

I don't think it shifts the direction of the show at all. The show, and time travel on it, are based on the principle that, whatever has happened, happened, and always will happen.
So essentially, Sayid's shooting of Ben (thinking he could kill him and prevent the future), actually causes the future, and shapes Ben (who survives) into the man he is in the future.
Ben wont die. If he did, then all of the Losties who returned to the island would disappear off the island, since without Ben existing, they wouldn't have returned (or even left, maybe). Sayid would also not of been there to shoot Ben in the first place.
So Ben will miraculously survive the shooting (possibly get saved by Jack... again), and become the leader of The Others, so on and so forth.
At this point I'm more curious about what the hell is going on with Locke, Ben, Sun, and Lapidus in the present (since the past has already happened, nothing new will come out of it. The best that can happen is they can unravel some of the mysteries that occured during the DHARMA timeline, like "The Incident.") |

It was turning out to be a rather bland episode with no major stuff happening and then BAM! One of the biggest WTF moments in LOST history :wtf:
When I saw Sayid take the gun I kinda figured he was going to shoot Ben, but I expected the gun to jam on him or something else to happen. Anyway, I'm pretty positive he's not dead. Wouldn't make the least bit of sense if he is. |

| It is almost as shocking as one of the season 2 episode closings when michael pulled the trigger on ana lucia and libby. i remember when i first watched it, i had the :wtf: face, because we clearly didn't know what ben was capable of, and who he really was. |

| Yeah, and that is EXACTLY why I don't watch the promos that are shown after the episode is over. I read at some LOST forums that the promo for this week's episode completely spoiled the ending of the episode. After watching it, I can say it's true. It had a scene of Sayid shooting someone in the jungle at night! :wtf: |

Quoted4truth. srsly the most WTF ending. As soon as Sayid said "you were right i am a killer" i said to my self theres no way hes gonna kill young ben and then boom!
Yeah even im curious to know whats been happning with Locke, ben ,sun, lapidus etc and what the hell were those big statues suppose to be. |

yeah ben won't die.
it's amazing how this is playing out in respect to each characters' personal timeline... for example when young ben met the losties he meets the time traveling versions of them who already hate him in sayid's case. then later on when 816 crashes he's blessed by versions of these guys that are completely naive, ripe for manipulation. |
