Do you believe there is a U.S. government cover-up surrounding 9/11? (pg. 140)

The Zeitgeist makes very VERY strong arguments, so if you can find a direct refutation of that one documentary, I'de be excited..:gsmile: |
yeah, strong if you're an ignorant hick who hasn't done their research. |

A direct response to the 911 conspiracy accusations would be nice..:) |
...but it's gotta be in MPEG format?

again, we find your knowledge wanting.
Osama has not been indicted, not even as a co-conspirator, on the 9/11 attacks. there is not enough evidence. |

I want any refutation. I don't care if its text or mpeg. But specifically, if there is any refutation, other than pkc's attempts at an insult, the specifically addresses Zeitgeist, or NORAD stand-down then that would be nice..:)

We? Or you and a couple folks? You act like the entire board is on your side..
It is clear who the Bush admin blames or appears to blame for this attack. OBL. "Dead or Alive." Remember that? I mean, they've made it pretty clear who they attribute as "responsible" for the attack. |

Bin Laden is under Federal indictment and wanted (FBI's 10 most wanted) for the African Embassy bombings.
Bin Laden, the declared leader and figurehead of Al Queera, the organization that purpetrated the 9/11 attacks, is also wanted as well for questioning.
these are not hard concepts to understand. |

Already tried that with him on a number of topics, and I've also encouraged him to go to book stores. He's from Tampa - I even gave him directions as to where to find those "secret" bookstores. |

Who does Bush cite as the responsible party for the 911 attacks?
From the 911 Commission Report..
"Failure to confront
The report charts how al-Qaeda was allowed to develop into a real danger to the US, concluding that while the attacks "were a shock... they should not have come as a surprise":
* "The 9/11 attack was driven by Osama Bin Laden" who "built over the course of a decade a dynamic and lethal organisation" in al-Qaeda
* "What we can say with confidence is that none of the measures adopted by the US government from 1998 to 2001 disturbed or even delayed the progress of the al-Qaeda plot"
* "The most important failure was one of imagination. We do not believe leaders understood the gravity of the threat"
* "At no point before 9/11 was the Department of Defense fully engaged in the mission of countering al-Qaeda, even though it was perhaps the most dangerous foreign enemy threatening the United States"
* "The FBI did not have the capability to link the collective knowledge of agents in the field to national priorities"
* "The terrorist danger from Bin Laden and al-Qaeda was not a major topic for policy debate among the public, the media or in the Congress. Indeed, it barely came up during the 2000 presidential campaign"
* No single individual was to blame, but both individuals and institutions had to take responsibility for failing to stop the attacks
* There was no operational link between al-Qaeda and ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein."

I've already made my position clear after hearing for years AND BELIEVING the official story of 911. Now I am a skeptic. Now if you want to argue against my skepticism, the burden is not on me to provide evidence for YOUR arguments. I've made my stance and provided sources. You disagree, I ask for a refutation, and you have a tantrum? Come on now..
Forget about the Zeitgeist, I guess there's too much of an argument to refute in a short period of time in its entirety. But find me a refutation of the NORAD stand down, as I have found none. Can you refute the timeline as described in the videos I posted? |

I knew the answer to my damn question.. But you keep trying to argue that the official stance of the Bush admin is that Osama is not the guy responsible for 911..when they do hold him responsible. So what if they havn't made the indictment, that just shows how weak their case is against him in regards to 911. Which is why there is so much skepticism from 1/3 of Americans about who really is to blame for 911. |

look, its just me being a little bit over the whole CT stuff. not your fault, and i apologise. its just that nobody actually ever listens to the voice of reason or logic, and favour the most crazy and illogical notions because they have failed (or refused) to look at the counter evidence. the fact that you keep referencing zeitgeist, which is full of lies, hardly makes me want to bother, you know?
and actually, it IS your burden to provide yourself with information, that's what research is all about. but, in one last attempt to provide sanity to these threads
vanity fair article
never EVER underestimate the capacity for government incompetence. |

LMAO! Awww poor Bin Laden. By default? He confessed on tv. He took responsibility, or do you think that was staged too?
Maybe he's not hiding in a cave? Maybe you prefer to believe he's hiding in one of the toilet's in the white house? |
