LOL, legal definition of torture? You are joking right? Just because Obama does not want to follow through with prosecuting does not mean it did not happen.
Again if you are saying they did not order the torture or profit from the blood of your own people then maybe you should hit the books before you talk and make more outlandish assumptions.

In case you haven't watched today's news, here are the "torture memos" issued by Bush-Cheney's Justice Department which enabled the top administration bosses and their underlings in the CIA to carry out illegal torture tactics on prisoners. War criminals like Dick Cheney still justify their actions with impunity. Why should he worry? The weak-kneed Obama administration, even while making the memos public, has made it clear that it intends to paper over the lawlessness of its predecessors for the sake of moving forward.

You said torture, if you feel confused about it I suggest you slow down for a second and collect your thoughts before you hit the keyboard.
For one I could not give a what you think the legal definition of treason is. Murdering your own innocent people because or their own false hoods makes you an enemy of the state and a traitor. Look below and tell me what the last administration have done is not "serious" enough for you.
In law, treason is the crime that covers some of the more serious acts of disloyalty to one's sovereign or nation. Historically, treason also covered the murder of specific social superiors, such as the murder of a husband by his wife (treason against the king was known as high treason and treason against a lesser superior was petit treason). A person who commits treason is known in law as a traitor.
Obama does not wish to pursue the torture issue choosing instead to move forward and ignore the ugly past of the last administration. This does not mean it did not happen, he does not have the balls (at least for now) to bring it to the table and a few people around here seem to be missing some balls as well. |

Stop using that definition. This is the LEGAL definition of treason...
"Article 3: Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted."

Far from chunky, my friend. :) I work out three days a week, and run track 45 minutes every morning. Never liked Final Fantasy, either. In fact I'm for knowledge, specifically the suppressed. This is no fantasy, but now well documented in modern underground science, although still controversial in mainstream. Truth is stranger than fiction, it's mind over matter. There is NO fixed reality; I suggest you look up "left-brain imprisonment". |

Look, i have absolutely no problem with conspiracy theories. I have no problem in finding out im wrong- or finding out that my concept of reality is false.. finding 'truth'..
problem is, im waiting. :conf: i have read articles & debated with colorut & nothing he has said (or anyone else) has truly intrigued me or made me think- "wow! he has a point!" .. maybe he's right.
so until i get valuable information, i don't see any real 'truth' or 'reality' .. i see mine & you have yours. for that, no one should be called a sheep. :o
