It even goes beyond conspiracy theorism. Their opinions, although I disagree with most of them, are at least well-researched and they have sources to back their opinions up (it's the sources that I also disagree with, but that's another discussion).... His statement was just... dumb.
According to his logic, someone from New Orleans who survived Hurricane Katrina but saw dozens of his neighbors perish shouldn't have the right to be so upset about it, because this person has never been to Vietnam or Iraq. |

This would explain why the government of California is “clamping down on homeschooling by parents” stating that “parents do not have a constitutional right to home school their children.” This is indeed a frightening turn of events, specially if you consider that Governor Schwarzenegger “has proposed cutting nearly $5 billion dollars from California’s education system, sparking the distribution of ‘pink slips’ to over 20,000 teachers.” Close to 90,000 more could be sent out, straining the education system to the breaking point.
Other States are also waging war on free thought. Arizona has passed a measure backing 'American values' in state schools.

the whole problem with this theory is that the even a failed attack by the japanese would have been sufficient justification for america to go to war. If roosevelt knew about the attack, he could have had troops in honolulu prepared to fight, or he could have sent ships to attack the japanese while they were en route to hawaii. |

You realize Francesco Cossiga is more than 80 years old and hasn't been "President" of Italy since 1992. The best part about being "President" of Italy is that it's pretty much just an honorable title. The "President" of Italy doesn't do much more than live a quiet life going to honorable things throughout the country, as a figurehead (Prime Minister matters). It's like a high-ranking Prince or Princess of England or Wales coming out with a statement on 9/11, and at 80 years old no less.
I can't see how any of this makes him an expert on the matter. Think about any 80 year-olds you know. They're incredibly cynical and aren't exactly capable (or trained) at spending hours in front of a computer doing research on a topic like this. I'm sure, if I were more acquainted with some of the other sources in your post, I could poke similar holes through them, but I'll just leave my reply at that. |

what cretinrot fails to understand is the "tongue in cheek" respect in which cossiga made these remarks. anyone with half a brain can tell cossiga is actually mocking the italian left, not actually making a claim that he believes (not that it matters). but cretinrot doesn't understand politics because he doesn't have much of an education. everything he learns is from idiot websites.
its just a tiny minority bunch of kids trying to make some noise and ignore the reality that their "movement" is pointless and without mass support. There was a recent truther event with all their heavy hitters (steven jones & dylan avery and others) in NYC and by all reports there were around 50 people there.
