Do you believe there is a U.S. government cover-up surrounding 9/11? (pg. 272)

It's pretty telling that the gaggle of trolls has to always try to refute and/or discredit EVERY SINGLE post that I make here, isn't it?
It's all too apparent that somebody doesn't want people to know the truth. ;)
Ask yourself this: if what I was posting was as frivolous or as nonsensical as they say it is then why would they go to such extraordinary lengths to try and refute it? Why would they spend so much time and effort trying to counter it?
It's as if it's a full time job for them! |

Are you? I thought we were just debating :conf:
Am I baffled by the fact that there's almost no discussion in these gigantic threads about 9/11? Yes.
Do I think it's weird to keep posting about a specific topic if no one else seems to care, except for critics and possible lurkers? Yes.
Does that mean I'm going to stop you? No, not at all.
The reason why I'm talking to you about it is because I want to have a better understanding of what's going on, as I don't want to be unfair to anyone. But, if you think my curiosity is a kind of reprehension... it should tell something both about these threads and your ignore list. |

Now, Trancer-X, that's a ludicrous thing to say.

It's not uncommon, really. I'd do that here if this thread were about something I actually cared, but it isn't. |

It seemed to me that you were singling me out since I seem to be the main contributer to this thread.
My apologies if I overreacted but it should be quite apparent that after having endured relentless personal attacks (which I though were supposed to be forbidden in PDD?) by an entire crew of trolls who only propound the same propaganda that the complicit mainstream media has been feeding us, that I've long since been put on the defensive. |

Look at the poll numbers up top and then look at how many trolls we have who continue to fight tooth and nail in the other direction.
That's all that I really should have to say. I'm sure you can do the math. |

| An argumentum ad populum (Latin: "appeal to the people"), in logic, is a fallacious argument that concludes a proposition to be true because many or all people believe it; it alleges that "If many believe so, it is so." |

Indeed I can. But, I think it's not hard to imagine that, a thread about a conspiracy theory will attract more conspiracy theorists than "non-carers" - specially if it shows up in search engines the way you say it does. So, numbers notwithstanding (this appeal to popularity is not an uncommon fallacy anyway), we should look carefully at the arguments and the counter-arguments - that's what forums are for ;) |

Proof from physics there was was more than enough energy to collapse the towers and the impossibility of covertly being able to plant explosives enough to destroy the towers (which was already tried in 1993 with a gigantic bomb; didn't destroy the tower did it?).

Don't you have to be a registered member to participate in the poll, though? It's not like just anyone can vote, is it? |

these trolls are still at it with these bull graphs and other nonsense popular mechanics propaganda.
Everyone knows buildings don't blow up, collapse at free fall speeds and pulverize, if they did they could have at least shown many other examples in history after all these years.
Well they can if they want really wanted to be honest, it's controlled demolition.

The funny part is that I've since become friends with the owner of that company's daughter and she actually refuses to talk about 9/11 and really seemed to get nervous the one time I brought it up.
I tend to wonder if they weren't given a gag order or something like that after having done much of the demo and debris removal at the WTC site. I could never bring myself to ask her about it again, though, because I know that the penalty of violating those NSL/gag orders is mandatory jail time and I doubt that she would tell me even if she knew.
Her dad is on one of the latest conspiracy debunking videos ridiculing the hypothesis of demolition as being the cause of the collapse but of course since much of their business is given to them by the government he could just be towing the official line. |
