there wasn't any molten steel (another fallacy), and even if there were, having it "molten" for two months after the collapses is not an indication of thermite. which you would know if you knew how thermite worked, but alas.

Its not something you can just stick to the side of a building and have it do something. It requires a container to harness it and focus the energy.
Its also not a very controlled burn unless very carefully done. You are more than likely going to get ablation (throwing off slags of metal) of your cutting subject than you are some sort of molten pool of it. You will get pools of molten iron from thermite, but if this was used in the WTC I doubt you would find any traces of it in all that wreckage.
What you would find molten pools of is weaker metal alloys like those used in the rims of car wheels and other structures that do not require vast mechanical strength.
Have you ever seen the remnants of a car fire?
The idea that thermite was used is incredibly naive. If you talk to anyone who has ever worked with thermite you will know that its not very useful outside of very controlled situations (like welding, the opposite of what you say it was used for).

Thats a horrible video to use as an example.
You can not see below the damaged area, and even then it still proves you wrong when the camera pulls back.
Look at how the debris shoot out to the side like that. Its obvious that the internal floor structure has started to collapse and that the exoskeleton, now having to support all of the weight by itself (normally the floors redistribute load back to the core) are exploding out to the side under the intense weight.

I do realize the difficulty of working with it. The point is the molten metal was present as per the video. What is important is they left it out of the final reports without having to explain it.
Explain why molten metal was present under WTC7 if no plane crashed into that building?

What type of molten metal? There are so many different types of metals used in buildings, and just not in the structure, but in electrical conduit, water and waste pipes, metal fittings for staircases and decretive fixtures.
All of these depending on composition can melt under different temperatures.

You know why there was molten metal in WTC7? There was a massive fire burning inside of it, there was a large transformer complex for Edison electric as well. Many exotic metals in those things. Lots of alloys that I am sure can melt even in a normal house fire.
Like I said, have you ever seen the remains of a car fire? There are huge pools of molten metal from the rims of the car and other parts. I have had a car burn in my parking area, a neighbor lady used the pools of molten metal in her art work.
Metal is not one element, its a type of element, with many different elements combined to make other types of metals. All of them have different physical properties.
To say "oh there was molten metal" is the same as to say that there was burnt wood at a house fire. It totally superfluous to anything that happened.

Thats what you guys seem to not understand is that its a two phase process.
The pan-caking is not even visible from the outside. What you see is the exoskeleton above the collapsed floors exploding outward under the pressure the remaining intact structure above is now exerting on it. The pan-caking floors are already 2 or 3 floors below what you are seeing on the outside of the structure.
The whole stability of the building relied on the floors connecting to the exoskeleton and the core. Pressure on the exoskeleton from the floors above was redistributed through the floor bracing to the more solid elevator shaft core in the middle. Its a really unstable design, but it works out well for the tenants because of the massive amount of floor space you can get.
