No i dont claim to be an expert on middle east politics,but i do have a healthy interest in it as i do on most current affairs...that why i post most days in this political forum on TA,i have views on many different matters including this one.When i see someone making so many generaliseations and IMO a very one sided or biased manner,that would not be consistant with the generally held view worldwide that Israel is the aggressor in many instances..a fact you either conviently choose to ignore or truly believe not to be the case..well yes then i feel compelled to reply,especially as i and others have pointed out some of the points you made were inconsistant to say the least against accepted wisdom...but this is the nature of denial,you will only believe what you find to be the acceptable truth...in the face of all adversity and criticism from the outside world...but again this is totally consistant with Israeli policy throughout the years....so perhaps a bit more of an objective view on your behalf would be helpful...rather than the blinkered view you seem to currently hold....... |

after reading arguments made for Israel on this forum(by mostly Israelis and zionist), this is what most of them seem to believe and they use these beliefs to justify Israel's actions and illegal occupation:
1. The Palestinian people never existed/most of Israel was uninhabited barren land.
2. Israel is entitled to Palestinian land.
3. IDF soldiers never intend to kill civilians.
4. Israel doesn't commit attrocities and injustices against the Palestinians.
Well, unfortunately, all of those beliefs are incorrect and it's sad how you've all been duped.
The palestinians(arabs) have been living there for centuires and I don't see any reason why they should surrender their homes and lands to foreign invaders/colonizers who want it exclusively for themselves. |

This pretty much sums up Israels intentions. It has nothing to do with security and everything to do with conquest by force and expulsion of the Palestinians from their own land. |
