I skimmed over it. It in no way proved the UN has an "anti-Israel bais."
You also need to calm down. |
the UN has been turned into a partisan battleground in the ongoing political campaign carried out against Israel by its adversaries in the region. The 21 Arab states, with the aid of Islamic countries and the non-aligned camp, constitute a sympathetic ‘automatic majority' for these hostile initiatives, assuring the adoption of anti-Israel resolutions in the General Assembly and other UN forums.
You don't need to read any articles to come to this conclusion. The proof of Israel-Bias is all the anti-Israel resolutions that have been put forth and were overturned only because of the United States. |

You have got to be kidding mate!
all resolutions relating to the Israel-Palestine conflict which fail to aknowledge the Plight of the Israelis while focussing on one sided Palestinian aproach....there is much more to this but I don't need to paint you a picture....it does not take a genious to put two and two together.
The UN should not take sides, but we all know that it does. Israel joined the UN as its 59th member on 11 May 1949. Since then, it has participated in a wide range of UN activities and has endeavored to make its full contribution to UN organs and international agencies devoted to health, development, labor, food and agriculture, education and science. Israel plays an active role in the work of non-governmental organizations conducted under UN auspices, which deal with issues ranging from aviation to immigration, from communications to meteorology, from trade to the status of women. and Yet, Israel is the only UN member not permitted to stand for election to the full range of UN bodies. So while membership of the UN Human Rights Commission now includes Cuba, Libya, Sudan and Syria -- four of the seven states designated as state sponsors of international terrorism by the U.S. State Department -- Israel cannot even be a candidate.
There is just so much more to it but in my opinion, that is not the source of the problem, it is just one of the many faces of hate. |

And how does it take sides? By requesting Israel to end the occupation And stop killing innocent palestinians?
Somehow I can't feel sorry for an agressive colonizer that wishes to displace the indigenous population to establish a state based on a racist ideaolgy (zionism). |

What you are saying here is that whenever a resolution is passed, no matter how Anti-Israel....israel must follow it...c'mon..wake up. |

Don't you remember that the UN General Assembly sought to activate the UN's judicial arm--the International Court of Justice in the Hague--to stop Israel's security fence. Annan's office supplied supporting documentation to the judges in the Hague about Palestinian grievances over the fence, without even relating to the wave of Palestinian suicide terrorism against Israeli civilians that caused the fence to be built in the first place (nor was there mention of other security fences built on disputed territory in Kashmir or Cyprus). Yet the UN holds itself up to be "the source of international legitimacy"--a beacon of international justice. It is clear, however, that the UN does not determine the relative justice in the claims of parties engaged in an international dispute. It can only reflect the sum total of the political power that a state or national movement can mobilize on his behalf within the halls of the UN. For many peoples, from Tibetan Buddhists to Rwandan Tutsis, to Lebanese Christians to Iraqi Kurds and Black African Muslims in Darfur, Sudan, (and not just the Jewish people) that leaves them completely unprotected if they have to rely on the machinery of the UN.
For argument's sake...enough with the UN, I saw first hand how they are useless and Bias.
Let's return to the main issue...Israel-Palestine..
The source of this conflict is the hate arabs have for Jews, PERIOD! |

The source of this conflict is occupation and driving the palestinians out of their land and homes to create a state that completely disregards the rights of the palestinians. |

I think escobar sais it himself...all the "anti-Israel" resolutions aimed at Israel that only failed because of the US...
That shows the UN, if anything, is biased towards Israel
I get sick and tired of people who cannot even begin to comprehend what the UN is...it is made up of countries and is dominated by America, UK, France, China and Russia...so whoever the UN is biased for or against is whoever those five countries are...and I dont see any Arab countries there do you?!
And if you want to know what his sig says it says..."There are not Arabs there are not injured" altho I'm sure thats not what he put in his translator!! :D |

Have you ever read any of these "anti-Israel" resolutions?! The reason Israel was able to give no land back to the Palestinians that was promised in the Oslo Accords was because Israel declared that it had complied with Resolution 242 and accused the Palestinians of not complying with Resolution 242 so how the can it be biased against Israel?!?!?!?!?!?
I think you will find that most resolutions (certainly the ones passed after the 67 war) address both sides in the conflict |

What a dumb remark....everytime a resolution about the conflict in introduced, it always fails to farily take both sides into account...it always favors the Palestinians.....that is what I meant...and everybody usualy signs off on it, but the US vetoes it and saves the day. |
