Yeah, I know they're both semetic. I'm semetic.
I think the term you meant to use was "Arab." "Arabic" is a language.;)
As for my genetic makeup, My fathers from Saudi decent mixed with Persian/Irani, Iraqi, and Pakistani blood in him. My mother, on the other had, is from Aryan and Indian descent. My dad looks very Arab and Pakistani wheras my mom look very Aryan. I look pretty mixed, although I could easily pass off for Pakistani. My facial hair combined with some of my other features makes me look pretty Arab though. Plus, unlike my mom, whos very fair, I'm somewhat dark. Combine all that, and I think it's obvious I'm not Jewish, and then what the default left? Yup, Muslim. I imagine people wouldn't be very freindly towards me and I wouldn't be welcomed. Or is my impression wrong? Corrent me if I am please. :conf: |

very wrong! like i said theres plenty of middle eastern descend looking people in israel. more than european looking ones, i had enough friends that were darker than black people (btw israel also has a large black population), heres a gallery from a club in israel flip through im sure youll see all types of people http://www.atraf.co.il/gallery/gallery.asp?gallery_id=4501&category_id=&lineCode=&page=1, s'all about the multiculturalism !:cool: |

I think (tho not sure) that Middle Eastern Jews would look identicle to Arabs (indeed I see IDF soldiers who you would think are Arab, altho of course these could actually be Arabs!!) The reason some Jews look more 'European' is, suprise suprise, cos they are from Europe! Despite the religion saying you cant intermarry its obviously gonna have happened over the centuries so Israelis today compromise mix between ME Jews and European (and American) Jews which is maybe why you are thinking Jews look different to Arabs (cos in the European case they might well) |

I know 1/3 of Israel's have, or have the right to, an EU passport (so they must have recently moved from an EU country) and I would imagine a good proportion are American Jews (tho a lot of these get shipped out to the settlements to do a 'tour of duty' for a year or so!!) But dont forget that even tho many Israelis are from Europe or America they are still descended from the same race so they dont all neccesserily have blonde hair and blue eyes! ;) |

| I wasn't even criticising anything! I just said that European (and American) Jews are decended from the Middle Eastern Jews (after the Romans kicked alot of em out of Palestine) Thats their whole argument as to how they claim the land - cos they were decended from the people there! Maybe FBI should go do some Jewish history lessons?! |

| He was apprently offended by the term race in assosciation with human beings, since it was horribly misused by the Nazi Regime as we all know. Still debatable if there axctually exists such a thing as a "race". Genetically there's no such thing. |
