Jewish people are coming to Israel since they feel its their homeland, the only place in the world were they feel safe and the only place where they know they belong at.
Just like me and my family who left Russia in 1989 to start a new life in a place we belong.

ye im beginning to think that myself..i have read some good posts in here but you have wade through lots of crap in order to find it..sometimes several pages before you find a post that isnt telling some other guy to go F**k himself. |

Israel needed to keep an eye on that area because the Lebanese where shooting missiles on Israeli territory. As soon as Israel got her army out of there the missile attacks stopped, now show me the failure in that? |

So much anger and frustration!
Must be confusing for us mere mortals why wars are waged and who's right and who's wrong. Bottom line - history is written by winners. Who knows what stories will be told in the future about the nature of the conflict.
All I can say is - taking innocent lives cannot be justified or rationalized. One thing duking it out on the battlefield or using conventional warfare. In that essence - Israel marches into Palestinian territory in clearly marked vehichles and soldiers are not dressed in civilian clothing. Blowing up a bus full of civilians does little to further the cause.
You cannot expect Israel or any other country not to retaliate when its citizens are being attacked, regardless of the circumstances.
I'm sure that in Canada the government would not standby ildly if the Indians decided to blow up a bus in downtown Toronto. Especially if they knew that Indians were making more weapons at the near-by reservation. I would find it highly surprising if Canada did nothing after continuous attacks.
that's just my $0.25 of opinion ($0.02 - adjusted for inflation)
