Sure. Him and Chosmyk are the two (and only) "Gods" of Israel-bashers simply due to the fact that they're Jewish which makes their criticism more 'authentic' or whatever. It's funny that it won't york the other way around, though. If I were to quote, say, Alan Dershowitz, the source would imemdiately called biased because of its religion/ethnicity.
But hypocirsy on the side of Israel-haters is nothing new, now is it.. |
Ad-hominum attacks only reinforce your inability to counter argue their points. |

JERUSALEM - The Jerusalem District Court sentenced a 37-year-old Talmud (Oral Law) teacher of mentally challenged students to a 12 year prison term Wednesday for acts of sodomy and sexual misconduct involving teens and children.
The teacher, who is currently divorced without children, mainly molested family members, including his nephew, who was 10-years-old at the time.
Investigators found dozens of naked photos of children on his personal computer.
The teacher, who grew up in New York, arrived in Israel to study in a Yeshiva; he later returned to the U.S. to complete his degree in Computer Science, but came back to Israel to teach children with learning disabilities and serve as a boarding school counselor.

"The first indicted man is the son of Ariel Sharon .... In the relevant period he was employed by Ariel Sharon to administer and run his campaign for the Likud party primaries," the indictment said.
According to the indictment, Omri Sharon received more than $1.3 million in 1999 and 2000 from groups in Israel and overseas for his father's campaign.

Official Israeli report condemns W.Bank building
By Allyn Fisher-Ilan 1 hour, 38 minutes ago
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli governments have consistently failed to follow their own laws and guidelines for land confiscation and building in the occupied West Bank, an official report said on Wednesday.
The study, published by the state comptroller, said it found "serious and continuous improprieties" in preventing construction illegal under Israeli law on land captured in the 1967 Middle East War.
The World Court brands all Israeli settlements on occupied land illegal.
Israel disputes this.
The 400-page report said laws on illegal building had not been enforced strictly enough for either Israelis or Palestinians living under Israeli administration.
"Cases were found where the administration allocated thousands of dunams of land for (Jewish settlement) without due process," the report by Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss said.
"Since 1993 the administration has ceased registering state land, yet continued to confiscate land without putting it through the registration process," it said.
A dunam equals 1,000 square meters.
Israel's Defense Ministry had no immediate comment on the report.
Israel recently finished removing 9,000 settlers from the
Gaza Strip and northern West Bank under a plan to "disengage" from conflict with the Palestinians, but some 245,000 settlers remain in the West Bank, home to 2.4 million Palestinians.
The report echoed criticism by a government-appointed investigator who said in March that 105 Jewish settler outposts had been built without Israeli government permission and had spread with state funding and military protection.
Israel has said it will remove many unauthorized outposts under a U.S.-backed peace "road map," but has yet to comply. Palestinians have failed to meet their own obligation to start disarming militant factions.
Defense officials failed to prevent more than 70 percent of cases of illegal construction by Israelis and more than 55 percent of that by Palestinians in the West Bank from 2000 to November 2004, the comptroller's report said.
In addition, the army seized thousands of dunams of land in the West Bank between 2001 and 2003 under temporary military confiscation orders, during the Palestinian uprising, and has failed to vacate nearly 40 percent of the land.
"As a result, Palestinian residents have been unable to work their land in these areas," the report added. |

I guess the title of the thread as "The ultimate Israel - Palestine Thread (it's all here)" was just there as a fluke in the cosmic order. |

Israel/Occupied Territories: Amnesty International condemns killing of Palestinians by Israeli settler, calls for urgent measures to end settlers' impunity
Four Palestinians were shot dead and two others were injured by an Israeli settler yesterday evening as they were returning home from their work at a factory in the Israeli settlement of Shilo, in the West Bank.
The settler, a driver from the Israeli settlement of Shvut Rahel, was transporting Palestinians who work in a factory in the Shilo settlement to nearby Palestinian villages. He shot dead three Palestinian workers at the gate of the settlement and then went back to the industrial area, where he shot at other Palestinian workers, killing one of them and injuring two others.
There are conflicting reports as to whether he took the weapon he used for the shooting attack from a security guard of the settlement or used his own.
This is the second lethal shooting by an Israeli settler in as many weeks. On 4 August, an Israeli settler from the West Bank settlement of Tapuah shot dead four Palestinian citizens of Israel on a bus in the town of Shfaram, in the North of Israel. The settler was an activist of the outlawed Kach movement, which calls for the expulsion of Palestinian from Israel and the Occupied Territories.
These deliberate killings by Israeli settlers follow an increase in the past year and a half in attacks against Palestinians and their property by Israeli settlers. In recent months Israeli intelligence and security officials have warned about the risk of increased violent attacks against Palestinians by Israeli settlers seeking to disrupt the Israeli pullout from the Gaza Strip.
However, Israeli settlers in the Occupied Territories continue to be allowed to carry weapons and the Israeli authorities have taken no concrete measures to prevent the daily harassment and attacks against Palestinians and their property by Israeli settlers throughout the West Bank.
The consistent failure of the Israeli authorities to prevent attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and to investigate such attacks and bring settlers to justice has created an atmosphere of impunity, which has ultimately encouraged further attacks.
Amnesty International reiterates its call on the Israeli authorities to urgently take concrete and effective measures to prevent attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians, to carry out prompt and independent investigations into each and every attack, and to bring to justice all those responsible. |
