I thought I posted here, but reckon not. Palestine is nothing more than a slum district which needs to be razed. No one in charge of the lawless area and no plans to make it any better because the UN won't step in. Another argument for moving the UN to Paris, France. As it is now, the Israelis will fashion whatever border they want and the Palestinians will have to suffer. No one in charge of Palestine! C'mon UN, wake up and do something! Hahhhahaaaaah! They never will, so the Israelis have no qualms about leveling houses and people along an undefined border region.

Dude, the palestinians had their chance to win a war... 4 times... They, and the Arab world have lost... 4 times... At what point are the Palestinians obligated to accept that loss and sue for peace? |

you mean Palestine should accept the loss and let Isreal take over their country??dream on man that will never happen,I dont think any citizens from any country will just sit and let their country get occupied. |

Funny you mentioned UN.To Isreal UN is nothing but a joke,why?because they look at the U.S. and see that how they never follow much by UN,America uses UN as a excuse to attack other country for its own benefit,but if other countries like Iran or Iraq dont follow UN orders,they will get ed,so basically UN=American bull:o
It is sad that UN has no REAL power to stop such tragic events that are happening in Palestine.:( |

So who does follow UN rules? Any takers? The organization is ineffective as a whole and therefore should move to Paris, France amid the heart of cowards and inconsequential philosophies. American taxpayers don't need to fund ludricrous movements like appointing countries in charge of Human Rights committees who are the worst offenders and which have the worst records on earth. Further, WTF is Kofi Annan and who put him in charge of anything than his sorry f*cking ass third world country?

The US does not live by UN rules because they've proven to be an ineffectual organization with a moronic and grafted third world idiot who claims he's in charge but merely spouts tripe and rhetoric now and then with absolutely no power or backing in his decisions. That will only excascerbate the situation.
The reason is because typically Israeli soldiers go after known terrorist figures with civilian casualties that happen as a result. This firing in a crowd was wrong but was an aberration of the typical. The palestinian attacks are called terrorist because with the meaning that we have grown to know, they attack willingly civilians and have no distinction between civilian and soldier.

One side needs to stop retaliating for this to work and whoever stops retaliating will probably gain more world support as the opposing side will be seen as those in the wrong. I think the Palestinians should make this move because they are the ones with everything to lose in the longrun and are the ones who are longing for the state.
Its not really a matter of Israel listening but being forced to listen if this occurs. The only reason USA can veto UN resolutions is that every single time they retaliate it can be seen as self defense but if there is nothing to retaliate for then if they don't make progress there is nothing to veto and the UN can be free to step forward and so what it feels is right. America is just protecting the only democracy in the region and a partner through history, like every country does in the world with their major economic partners.
The same holds true with the Israelis. If they move the borders, evacate the settlers and give them the land as defined in the plan and hold true to this then it is up to the palestinians to hold true to stopping terrorism. If after the palestinians have their state and rights and decide to launch more attacks against the Israelis then the same should occur as in the previous situation wether its sending a UN force to destroy the terrorists or whatnot.
Thats just how I feel about the current cycle. |

I am part of programs here that are raising awareness of the trouble this conflict is spiriling into... and am actually planning to (with friends) help out starving palestinians that need my help. |

I responded to your arguements in another thread, but perhaps no one read it. Here it is again:
Let me point out a few pieces of information that you so ignorantly left out. You say no one is in charge but you're forgetting that Israel is militarily occupying the Palestinian territories. The Occupation is in charge of the territories. It decides WHERE structures are built, WHERE settlements/colonies come and go, WHERE, WHEN, and HOW people come and go and HOW LONG they are held. It tells you WHEN to eat, HOW MUCH you'll be able to drink, and HOW LONG it will take you to get to work or school. If it wants you to have a day off school, off your education, it can, or make that two years from your education. It also decides WHERE your wife will give birth. Could be at the hospital or could be at a checkpoint outside on a rock. And of course, it decides whether you will have a place to live or not, whether your trees will grow or not, and whether your farm or business will keep supporting your family or be plowed to hell. So to end it there for now, let's just say that there is no 'Anarcy' in the 1967 Palestinian territories; there is Occupation. I don't know how much more "motherf*cker in charge" you can get.
Oh, and the UN won't go in to settle the problem because Israel has oposed that move and does not allow UN forces inside. |
