Yep, definitely nuts. 3 degrees C?? That's like English weather or something. |

| :stongue: :stongue: Indeed. I think I'll go shopping for a pair of Jeans instead. I'm at a horrible impasse. I'm between sizes, so one size always seems too big (I use a belt and generally it still feels so) whilst the size below often feels too tight. Damn them! |

You should seriously try out the re-release of divinity 2, the dragon knight saga. |
Ill put it on my "to play" list. Probably get to it after the holliday until then im on the infinity engine quest :)
Also, if i knew that there is a widescreen mod available for all these old IE games, i would have gone trough them again ages ago. Nothing quite like playing Torment in 1280x800 :D |

People who say this should be shot. A major reason why it's so damn good is because of the text. |

off, its 2010 and i sit 6 feet away from the tv, i couldnt read it even if i wanted to. text was in RPGs because of the limitations of technology. we no longer have those limitations. text contributes exactly nothing that spoken dialogue couldnt do 10x better. i played both BGs and they were great, but no way id play them again if i had to read all the . |

you old fart :p
The good thing about text in RPGs is that your enjoyment cant be spoiled by poor voice acting. Not every game can be Mass Effect when the voice cast is full of actual actors who know how to do their jobs (Martin Sheen FTW!), sometimes you're stuck with that crap voice acting like in divinity 2 where i already mentioned before that one of the cast sounds like the wicked witch of the west...and not the awesome one from wicked played b Idina Menzel, the crappy one from te original wizard of oz :p Then you have to play the whole game with the sound off so that you dont heal voice acting so bad you want to punch the computer :D
Also, for torment, you can set the font size so that they are viewable even from 1.8288 metres away, assuming of course that you dont have a puny TV :p |

the voice acting in divinity 2 is fine, especially considering its a belgian title. it certainly doesn't ruin the game, by any stretch.
i didnt know you could re-set the fonts in torment, that's great. but i still want voice actors :p |

| What can i say, im a voice acting snob. That video you posted a while ago of divinity 2 voice acting is probably what has kept me away from the game so far. Being belgian is no excuse for poor voices, they outsource that out to specialists (or they should anyway). |
