i called my cable company the other day to reduce my bill. i was thinking about getting rid of some things. i told the lady this and she's like, "wait, let me re-bundle your package" *puts me on hold* comes back and says my bill is now $12 less a month.
WTF I should have done this like 6 months ago. I have the same ing service but magically my bill is $12 less.
i ing hate that the cable companies have such a monopoly on cities. here in town, there's only one. In Shreveport, if you lived on the west side of the river, you HAD to have Cox. if you lived on the east side, you HAD to have suddenlink. there's no ing choice in the matter.
either you get your cable connection and 72 basic channels, or you have to have the full DVR/HD/100+ Channels all in one package, and that's like $100 more a month. but hey, you get HBO for free for 2 months...then it's $15 a month. oh, plus the $5 month service fee. plus franchise fees. plus HD Fees. plus other ing fees

I used to have pay TV but for the most part there was only a handful of channels worth watching, didn't watch sports and the movies where mostly old. That and its peppered with adds and frankly, I'm already paying them.
